This issue's cover features the painting, "Warmest Wishes," by Boulder artist Anne Skok.

She says about her painting, "There is a dialog that goes on between my images and my imagination until the painting has all the elements that bring it to life. My goal is being able to feel the emotion and movement of my characters and feel the cold evening in winter enough that I can convince myself and the viewer that a place like this exists, even if it is only in our imagination."
