Those with
acne have long suspected that stress makes their breakouts worse, and a new
clinical trial shows that “myth” is true. In the study, researchers examined
the severity of acne in 22 college students, as well as their levels of stress.
They found that both acne breakouts and stress levels increased during
examination periods, and the more stress levels increased, the worse acne
became.
